March is upon us and with it comes one of Americans favorite holidays to celebrate, St. Patricks Day. Check out the list below to find out some of the best events going on in Charleston.
St. Patty Rooftop Party, Snapper Jack’s(March 14th)- Join the Snapper Jack’s family as the kick off the opening of the rooftop with Folly’s favorite fishbowl cocktails. The DJ starts at 3 p.m and lasts all the way until 11. The best part is NO cover!
St. Patrick’s day block party and parade, North Charleston (March 14th)- The celebration will feature live music across three stages, street vending and fare from Olde North Charleston restaurants, arts & craft vendors, additional local food vendors, a Kid’s Zone with jump castles, face-painting and inflatable obstacle course, a bungee trampoline, fire trucks, as well as the always favorite mechanical bull. The block party kicks off with a parade starting on Park Place Eastat noon.
Charleston St. Patrick’s Day Parade (March 17th)- The parade will start at 10:00 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at the corner of Radcliffe St. and Saint Philip St. The parade will continue down King St. to Broad St. and will end at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.The parade will include fire trucks, military units, local team mascots, marching bands, fiddlers, dancers, and Charleston’s Irish step dancers. The best place to view the parade will be along the sidewalks on King St. Portable bathrooms will be available near the corner of Radcliffe and St. Philip.
Irish Stroll Bar Crawl (March 17th)- One of the biggest events every year this bar crawl has everything from drink specials to live dj’s. Register at Bay Street Beirgarten and hop around Downtown to these venues:
