It's that time of year when we give thanks and get into the holiday spirit! While having fun with friends and family, you can support local causes. Attend these events to give back to our community!


  • Nov 4-11: Charleston Burger Week


  • Nov 4: James Beard Foundation’s Taste America

    • Mercantile and Mash, 6-9pm

    • Tickets benefit the James Beard Foundation


  • Nov 5: Party for the Parks

    • Colonial Lake, 6-10pm

    • Tickets benefit the Charleston Parks Conservancy


  • Nov 10: Pint of Hope

    • Cooper River Brewing Co, 4-10pm

    • $1 from every pint sold will be donated to Lowcountry AIDS Services


  • Nov 10: Leukemia and Lymphoma Light the Night Walk

    • The Grove at Patriots Point, 5:30pm

    • Enjoy music, food, and a one mile walk to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society


  • Nov 10: Charleston Recipes Cookbook Launch Party

    • William Aiken House, 7-10pm

    • All proceeds from the cookbook and the ticket sales will benefit the Charleston Junior League to help those in need in our community


  • Nov 12: The Darling Oyster Bar Takes Over Geechie Boy Farms

    • Geechie Boy Farm on Edisto Island, 4-8pm

    • Enjoy an oyster roast and pig pickin’ while proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Edisto Island Preservation Alliance


  • Nov 12: LuLaRoe Fashion Show

    • Mixson Bath and Racquet Club, 6-10pm

    • A portion of proceeds go to our local chapter of Dress for Success


  • Nov 13: Charleston Horticultural Society Oyster Roast

    • McLeod Plantation on James Island, 4:30-7pm

    • Tickets available for members and nonmembers


  • Nov 13: Oysters for Autism


  • Nov 15: Bull’s Bay Golf Tournament

    • Bull’s Bay Golf Club, 8am

    • Golf, cocktail party, dinner, silent auction, and live auction all benefit the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital


  • Nov 17: Save More Kids Annual Gala

    • ILA Hall on Morrison Dr, 6-9pm

    • Tickets benefit the four Save More Kids Impact Project Initiatives


Grocery stores, churches, and food banks take donations all month to help give Thanksgiving meals to those in need. Donate just $1 to Lowcountry Food Bank to provide 6 Thanksgiving meals!
